Our client operates in the Iron Ore mining industry, where heavy mobile plant machinery is tested to measure displacement in live works. The client faced challenges related to the calibration of SafeGauge transducers, specifically concerning time delays associated with sending kits off-site, commercial costs, freight expenses, and a loss of SafeGauge utilisation on-site.

Assessment and Recommendations

AHPC took a proactive approach by collaborating with SafeGauge to explore technological solutions for on-site calibration and repairs. Mobilising on-site, AHPC tested and facilitated new calibration equipment and software, ultimately confirming the viability of on-site SafeGauge calibration.
